WHO SHOULD I ADDRESS MY SUBMISSION TO?
Your submission can simply be addressed to the Submissions Department.
HOW SHOULD MY MATERIAL BE FORMATTED?
We like to receive submissions in a Word document, double-spaced and in a clear
font.
DO YOU HAVE AN AGE LIMIT?
No. We’re happy to hear from writers of any age.
DO YOU HANDLE POETRY/SHORT STORIES, ILLUSTRATED BOOKS/YOUNG CHILDREN’S BOOKS?
No.
DO YOU HANDLE PLAYS/TELEVISION PILOTS/SCREENPLAYS OR FILM SCRIPTS?
Only for existing authors.
DO YOU ACCEPT SUBMISSIONS FROM AUTHORS OVERSEAS?
We do accept submissions from authors outside of the UK but please note that material
must be written or translated into English.
To submit your material, please send us a
covering letter, first three chapters, synopsis and SAE for safe return should your
work not be right for us.
If your work is non-fiction please send us an outline, sample chapter and author
biography.
Regretfully we can only keep material sent to us without return postage for up to
one month, after which time it will be shredded and recycled.
