Following his earlier success with The Black Earth, Philip Kazan’s latest title THE PHOENIX OF FLORENCE has also been recommended by Antonia Senior in The Times (Saturday 9th February) selecting Kazan’s latest title for Allison & Busby as her historical fiction Book of the Month. She calls it ‘… a historical crime novel with soul, written with beauty and tenderness’. The Sunday Times followed up on 24th February with a review commenting that ‘…Kazan has written convincingly about Renaissance Italy in earlier books and his vivid, vigorous prose brings it to life again’.

Kate Bradley has signed UK Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, for two books by debut adult fiction author Cathy Hopkins from Christopher Little at the Christopher Little Literary Agency LLP in association with Curtis Brown. THE KICKING THE BUCKET LIST, tells the story of three estranged sisters thrown together by the terms of their mother’s will. HarperCollins will publish in Spring 2017.
