Robert Mawson / Robert Radcliffe
Rob Mawson was born and educated in London. A journalist and advertising copywriter by trade, he also spent ten years in the aviation industry as a commercial pilot. He joined Christopher Little in 1993 with his first novel A Ship Called Hope published in 1995. Two years later: E..having taken complete leave of my senses...ERob sold his house and PR business and fled to France to try writing full time. The result was the international bestseller The Lazarus Child, published in over twenty languages and with a movie version scheduled for production. In 2002 he again achieved bestseller status with his 1943 drama Under An English Heaven which he wrote under the name Robert Radcliffe. This was followed up in 2003 by a second Radcliffe E943Ebook, Upon Dark Waters. Rob and his wife Kate live in rural seclusion in Suffolk.
