Christopher Hale

Christopher Hale is an award-winning writer and producer who was educated at Sussex University and the Slade School of Fine Art. He has made numerous films about the sciences and the arts for all the major broadcasters, including the BBC. He has filmed and traveled all over the world - including the Himalayas, unmapped regions of Mozambique and the Yemen. His films include Atlantis Reborn for the BBC's Horizon, Search for the Sons of Abraham for Channel 4 and Erik Satie: Things Seen to the Right and the Left for the BBC's Music on Two. His first book Himmler's Crusade (Bantam Press, 2003) was described by historian Michael Burleigh as 'gripping and well-researched'. He is now working on Hitler's Foreign Executioners for Harper Collins. He divides his time between London and Leipzig.
